THAT is what friends do…

My friend Jessica came over this morning… and do you know why?

Because I was feeling like a depressed failure, about missing my day-after-thanksgiving-mandatory-christmas-decorating-day. And without that day, what good is christmas at all, right? So, I was feeling down, and about to pull a grinch style “Christmas is Cancelled!” dramatic fit, when she said, “yea, sure, why don’t I come help you put up your decorations.”

So, she came over, bright and early Saturday morning, we listened to cheesy christmas music (veto-ing both Staci Oricco, and Rhianna’s lame songs), and she helped me fluff branches, adorn the tree, hang the stockings, and regain my christmas spirit.

A large chunk of my holiday joy, this season, was provided in the form of her friendship. Thanks, Jlo.

So, today, my mom got married!

She and John will, undoubtedly be very happy together. I am very excited for them, and wish them the greatest happiness.

They were married guerrilla style,  as a surprise at the marriage bootcamp where they both volunteer.

My dear friend, lynn michelle offered (initially) to come help me take pictures, but by the time I started crying/hyperventhilating, she ended up shooting the whole damn thing with her beautiful sister Vivian.

Lynn and Vivian, you are so kind, and I appreciate your token of friendship more than you know.
