so, on the way home from work today, I was in a great mood. Probably because it is friday.

But whatever the reason, I was just buzzing with exhilarated joy…

So, what did I do?

I turned on my Panic! at the Disco record, and listened, screamed, harmonized, danced, and bopped to 13 tracks of poppy, energetic music… that, lame as some may think, brought be a ton of happiness.

It is 6:16am, and my hair is still towel-wrapped…(post shower), but I felt I couldn’t really start today without writing a few words.

I woke up today, and I almost can’t explain it. I feel so amazing. I feel as happy as I’ve ever felt in my life…My heart is light as a feather, I feel each breath, I can’t wait to get in my car and set out on my drive to work so that I can see the sun as it begins to rise alongside me and the highway.

My whole self is glowing with such a beautiful light, and I feel deeply joyful. I feel as if I just woke up from the most restful sleep that anyone has ever had, which is ironic as I was whining to D just last night, about how I simply wasn’t sleeping properly.

Perhaps this seems trite, or false… but I really don’t care what anyone else perceives this moment to be, (which is not like me) because this moment is SO REAL to me. I am warm, and I don’t even know when I’ve experienced this before.

I wake up and do this beautiful Yoga practice every morning (it is Namaste Yoga and Meditation Practice by Yogini Kate Potter-clicky) and she is always talking about doing the movements with a smile… well at 5:15 every morning, that isn’t always easy. But today… I was more than smiling, with each breath I was beaming! So connected to my body, and so at peace.

I feel like my current joy could power the world for a day, and I will do my damnedest to do just that as I go through the motions of my life for the next 24 hours.

Maybe this will make you smile, I hope it does… I’ll be sending a smile your way today-I hope you receive it.

so, last night we watched the fantasy movie, Stardust.

I’ve got a new fandom… le sigh.

we just saved a bunch of money by switching to geico.

umm, seriously. D had been with statefarm for over 10 years, and finally decided on a whim to get a quote from GEICO… those freaks were over $500 less per 6 months term!!!! What the DEUCE!? I was completely blown away. D was pissed, but we’ve switched now, so I guess it’s water under the bridge…
