I. Love. Breakfast.

Eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, hashbrowns, muffins, you name it- I love it.

So, I was delighted this morning when (after learning that Mi Casita – my new favorite breakfast taco place-was closed) we stopped at Old West Cafe here in Denton.

Wow, it was really, really wonderfully awesome. Comfort food, and full of calories for sure, but man, that was some cookin’ like my grandma made. Made me miss her…and appreciate her. :)

I had a blueberry pancake, 2 scrambled eggs, crispy (THICK) bacon, and fruit salad. The pancake was fluffy, and full of plump, juicy, whole blueberries. The scrambled eggs were… well, scrambled eggs. The bacon was the very best bacon I’ve ever had… ever… and I’ve had my fair share of bacon. :) We were seated quickly, but by the door. It happened to be chilly this morning, which meant it took no time at all for our food to get cold. But the price was right, and the service was friendly… not fussy… but friendly. We’ll definately go back -and wait if we must, for a table away from the door- and chow on this great cafe’s food again.

YES!!!!!

I’m 2/3 of the way through with my 30 day shred!!! :D

I’m taking measurements tomorrow morning, because while my weight loss has temporarily stalled, I feel confident that I’m getting stronger, toning up, and probably losing inches. :D

I can say that I HATE level 2… hate it. It is murder on my knees, and I just hate every exercise. And not in the “this move is so hard, and it makes me work hard and get strong so I hate it, and love it!”… no, I really, really hate it. I’ll never do it again. For sure.

Not to mention the blogging? Is my daily blogging annoying my G Readers yet? :D

Well, today marks 3 weeks of blogging everyday. And while I certainly won’t blog everyday forever, I can admit that I’ve fallen back in love with what a blog is all about. :)

So, hmmm, what to write about?

Well, Tinni is feeling better. Ummm, bought a few new christmas decorations today.

And I’m working on decorating my bathroom. It’s been started for a while, but I never really finished it. It will be all done tomorrow, so maybe I’ll post some pictures. :D

Goodnight!

(19/30)

Well, today was black friday… we shopped. Just a bit, in the early afternoon… but we had enough of black friday craziness last year… (if you’ll recall, Daron and I got pneumonia after camping out at circuit city for our laptops). So, this year, we just went to a few places at grapevine mills. No big deal.

Tomorrow is day 20 of my 30 days. It is hard to believe I’ve managed to stick to it this long! I know I’ve resisted my fair amount, but I’m really glad that I’m doing it. :D

Anyway, we’re off to bed, but I’ll have some good stories tomorrow. :D Goodnight.

Happy Turkey Day and Happy Birthday to Jessica!!! :D

Today, my brother got to our house at 7 am, and he, Daron, and I drove off to visit my dad and his crew in a tiny east Texas town.

On the way there, we sang songs (at incredible volumes) and picked out harmonies together. It was really fun, and really awesome. :D

Once we arrived, I was shuffled into the fray. WOW! Being in a bustling kitchen really stresses me out. The kitchen is certainly not my domain, unless I’m baking-and in my own kitchen, so I just felt–anxious! It was totally weird, to feel my body react to that anxiety. Fascinating.

Anyway, we had a great meal, brought home a bunch of leftovers, and got back safe and sound.

I think the best part, though, was seeing my family… my dad. I really miss him, and wish I was able to hug him more often.

Anyway, happy turkey day to all of you, and have a happy black friday! :D

Almost forgot today!

Tomorrow I’ll do it proper, and talk about Tday. :D
