Happy Turkey Day and Happy Birthday to Jessica!!! 
Today, my brother got to our house at 7 am, and he, Daron, and I drove off to visit my dad and his crew in a tiny east Texas town.
On the way there, we sang songs (at incredible volumes) and picked out harmonies together. It was really fun, and really awesome.
Once we arrived, I was shuffled into the fray. WOW! Being in a bustling kitchen really stresses me out. The kitchen is certainly not my domain, unless I’m baking-and in my own kitchen, so I just felt–anxious! It was totally weird, to feel my body react to that anxiety. Fascinating.
Anyway, we had a great meal, brought home a bunch of leftovers, and got back safe and sound.
I think the best part, though, was seeing my family… my dad. I really miss him, and wish I was able to hug him more often.
Anyway, happy turkey day to all of you, and have a happy black friday!

That sounds so great… There’s nothing quite like a nice little family reunion, is there?
So what’s with the kitchen-anxiety? It’s one of my favourite things in the world, being in a kitchen filled with my family, me and my mom cooking and the rest just having a beer and chatting…
Then again, when the kitchen’s really small it can get really crowded lol!
Anyway, I’m SO glad you had a good thanksgiving!!!
