hello friends!
Today was a pretty good day, all in all.
I started out with a breakfast PBJ. I used some seedless blackberry jam and some fresh ground honey roasted peanut butter on Health Nut bread which was super yum. The sandwich theme continued at lunch when I had a turkey, spinich, and mild cheddar jubilee.
This afternoon, the kids left early! This is time for teachers to grade exams, and finish final paperwork… we’ll have student half days wednesday and thursday too. Friday is a teacher workday and then its OVER!
To celebrate the afternoon, I had a cup of jasmine tea (the cups were small, so I split the water and 1 teabag between two.), 3 cheetos, and 1 (of the 2 pictured) dark chocolate squares. YUM!

After work, I went to Kohl’s because I have been wearing clown-sized pants to work for weeks. I’ve been holding off because I thought my size might go down a bit more, but I finally gave in today, because they were having such a big sale. I got 3 shirts, 1 pair of pants, and 2 capris for about $51… when I checked out, the girl told me that I saved $150 if the merchandise had been sold at full price! WOA! THAT is a great sale!
This trip to the store also resulted in my purchasing my first pair of size 8 pants since 10th grade. WOW! That was awesome, can I just say. It is so great to go into the dressing room with 3 sizes of the same pair of pants and walk out with the smallest one… it really was so cool.
When I got home, hubs was already heading out the door for tennis, which meant I was going to need to fend for myself for dinner. In a random act of pizza-mania, I smashed out two leftover wheat hotdog buns, added some pizza sauce, spinich, roasted red peppers, a few turkey pepperonis, and 1 slice of mozzerella cheese and VOILA! Under 400 calories of pizza goodness for this pizza fiend.
After pizza time, I went upstairs and did 45 sweaty minutes on the elliptical while watching twilight. Now that is a way to kill some time on the elliptical! it really did fly by.
Tomorrow I’m meeting a running buddy up at school, and we’re going to log a few miles before work for National Running Day! She is great, and I’m glad to be able to run with someone. ![]()

running day!
Have a great night, talk to you soon.

OK Kelsey I am so happy for you. Seriously….you are such an inspiration. I had the opposite problem tonight…it was in my closet though not the dressing room. I tried on some jeans that fit me this time last year and I couldnt even button them! I didnt even work out last year AND I was drinking a ton of dr. pepper. UGH! HELP ME!!!!
Im still working out like a fiend…but not getting the results I want
